What is a click counter?

A click counter adds one each time you click it, so a computer can keep the count while you keep your eyes on the work. Tapsle is a click counter in your browser, with as many counters as you need and keyboard keys for every action.

  • One click adds one, minus takes one away
  • Count by 1, 5, 10 or any step
  • Pop out above other windows
  • Space, arrow keys, 0 and R on a keyboard

Count on screen while you do something else.

Pop out a counter and it floats above your spreadsheet, video or call, with +1 and −1 inside it. Click it, or press space while it has focus. Every click lands on the same counter on the board.

Counting on a computer

When you are already at a keyboard, a hand clicker means putting something down. Tapsle counts from the mouse or the space bar, keeps many counters at once and lets you undo a mistaken click.

Keeping the counter on screen

In Chrome and Edge, Pop out turns a counter into a small window that stays above everything else. Count calls while you dial, errors while you test, or mentions while you watch a stream, without switching tabs.

Online click counter or hand clicker?

Both count. Here is what each remembers for you.

Click counter questions

Does the click counter save my count?

Yes. Every click is saved in your browser straight away, so the count is still there when you come back on the same device, even offline.

Can I count more than one thing at once?

Yes. Add as many counters as you need. Each has its own name, colour, target and note.

Can I use my keyboard?

Yes. Space or the up arrow adds one, the down arrow takes one away, 0 sets zero and R resets. Space and the arrows work in the pop out window too.

Is Tapsle free?

Yes. Unlimited counters, targets, steps, notes, lock, focus mode, pop out and export are free, with no account. Free includes up to 5 groups and 1 counter on a timer. Tapsle Plus adds sync, backups, longer history, shared counters and integrations, for $2.99 a month or $25.99 a year.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once Tapsle has loaded, counting keeps working with no connection, and you can install it on your phone or computer like an app. Your counts are saved on your device as you go.

Can I keep the click counter on screen while I work?

Yes, in Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the click counter floats above your other windows, with +1 and −1 inside it, so you can count while you read, watch or type. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counters stay on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us unless you turn on sync with Tapsle Plus.
