What is a Notion habit tracker?

A Notion habit tracker is a database with one entry per habit per day. Ticking boxes in Notion on a phone takes several taps, so Tapsle does the counting and an automation adds the entries for you.

  • One tap per habit, on any device
  • Entries added through Zapier, Make or n8n
  • Daily targets that reset each morning
  • Your own views and formulas in Notion
Your habits, in Tapsle

Count on your phone. Keep the record in Notion.

Add a webhook in Tapsle and connect it to Notion with Zapier, Make or n8n. Each target reached or session finished can become a database entry with the date, habit and count.

What Tapsle sends

Each event includes the counter name, the event, such as target reached, the value and the time. Your automation decides which Notion properties they fill.

Why not tick boxes in Notion

Notion is a good place to review habits and a slow place to log them. Tapsle is one tap on the card or anywhere on the screen in focus mode, and it keeps counting offline.

Tapsle or a paper habit chart?

Notion habit tracker questions

Does Tapsle connect to Notion directly?

Not directly. Tapsle sends events through a webhook, and Zapier, Make or n8n add them to your Notion database.

Do I need Plus?

Yes. Counting is free, and webhooks are part of Tapsle Plus. Your automation service may have its own plan.

What does Tapsle send?

The counter name, the event, the value and the time.

Is Tapsle free?

Yes. Unlimited counters, targets, steps, notes, lock, focus mode, pop out and export are free, with no account. Free includes up to 5 groups and 1 counter on a timer. Tapsle Plus adds sync, backups, longer history, shared counters and integrations, for $2.99 a month or $25.99 a year.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once Tapsle has loaded, counting keeps working with no connection, and you can install it on your phone or computer like an app. Your counts are saved on your device as you go.

Can I export my counters?

Yes, free. Export saves every counter to one file, and Import brings them back on any device. Your counts belong to you.

Can I keep the counter on screen while I work?

Yes, on Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the counter floats above your other windows, with +1 and −1 inside it, so you can count while you read, watch or type. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counters stay on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us unless you turn on sync with Tapsle Plus.

What is the difference between Free and Plus?

Free is the counter: unlimited counters, up to 5 groups, 1 timer counter, targets, offline use, export and 7 days of history. Plus is memory: sync across up to 5 devices, nightly backups, 60 days of history with charts, shared counter links, unlimited groups and timers, and integrations. Cancelling Plus never removes a counter.
