What is a Google Sheets inventory tracker?

A Google Sheets inventory tracker keeps your stock counts in a spreadsheet, one row per count. Typing on a phone while holding boxes is slow, so Tapsle does the counting and adds the rows for you, with the date, product and count.

  • One counter per product
  • A row added to your sheet each session
  • Count by the case with a step
  • Several people counting into one sheet

Count on the floor. Keep the record in Sheets.

Connect Google Sheets once from Integrations. Tapsle creates a spreadsheet called Tapsle in your Drive and adds a row for each counting session, with the date, product and count, ready for your own totals and reorder formulas.

Counting with a team

With Plus, share a counter link and several people count the same product from their own phones. Every tap adds to one total.

Google Sheets inventory questions

Do I need Plus to use Google Sheets?

Yes. Counting stock is free, and the Google Sheets integration is part of Tapsle Plus.

What does each row contain?

Every session adds a row to the Sessions tab: the counter and its group, when you started and finished, the total, the target, how long it took and your peak pace.

Can several people count into one total?

Yes, with Plus. Share a counter link with your team, and every tap adds to the same total.

Is Tapsle free?

Yes. Unlimited counters, targets, steps, notes, lock, focus mode, pop out and export are free, with no account. Free includes up to 5 groups and 1 counter on a timer. Tapsle Plus adds sync, backups, longer history, shared counters and integrations, for $2.99 a month or $25.99 a year.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once Tapsle has loaded, counting keeps working with no connection, and you can install it on your phone or computer like an app. Your counts are saved on your device as you go.

Can I export my counters?

Yes, free. Export saves every counter to one file, and Import brings them back on any device. Your counts belong to you.

Can I keep the counter on screen while I work?

Yes, on Chrome and Edge on a computer. Choose Pop out and the counter floats above your other windows, with +1 and −1 inside it, so you can count while you read, watch or type. Phones and Safari do not support this, so the button only appears where it works.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your counters stay on your device. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us unless you turn on sync with Tapsle Plus.

What is the difference between Free and Plus?

Free is the counter: unlimited counters, up to 5 groups, 1 timer counter, targets, offline use, export and 7 days of history. Plus is memory: sync across up to 5 devices, nightly backups, 60 days of history with charts, shared counter links, unlimited groups and timers, and integrations. Cancelling Plus never removes a counter.
